Is there such a thing as “full coverage” when it comes to insurance?

“Full coverage” in insurance is a commonly used term, but it can be a bit misleading because it doesn’t mean complete protection against all possible risks. What “full coverage” usually refers to in the context of car insurance is a combination of the following types of coverage:

  1. Liability Insurance (required in most states): Covers damages and injuries to others if you’re at fault in an accident.
